B.A. Required - M.A. Educational Leadership/Principal License Preferred
Job Duties Include:
Oversee Human Resources for over 700 employees
- New Teachers
- Review job openings/Check on new applications
- Leadership Team - meetings, input
- Board Meetings - Personnel Report
- Ongoing Personnel situations
- Communication with District legal counsel as needed
- Unemployment correspondence & processing with provider
- Workers' Compensation correspondence & processing with broker and provider
- Coordinating Council/Classified Council
- Policy Review Committee Leadership
- Benefit Oversight & Communication
- RANDA
- Set up RANDA at beginning of year
- Training for district administrators
- Troubleshoot throughout the year
- Monitor for deadlines
- Let principals know of upcoming deadlines
- Follow up with principals if not meeting a deadline
- Ongoing Support with RANDA
- Annual presentation of evaluation to board
- Check absences/review status weekly
- Volunteer approval/Background checks
- Weekly get into schools
- Observe ATL teachers and share with ATL Council
- Observe new teachers
- Continuing building relationships with all staff
- Be aware of potential staff needs
- Show support for principals and staff
- Alternative Teacher Licensing
- Work with UnBOCES on their council to support ATL candidates
- Work with WCU, CMU and other colleges on ATL programming for staff
- Attending quarterly meetings

- Personnel On-board Thorough review of openings/applications, forwarding to principals as appropriate
- Sick Leave
- Weekly review of class sizes, class size guidelines
- Weekly communication with principals, checking on any issues, not just personnel
- Student Advisory Council - co-sponsor with superintendent
- Opening of school traffic and walkthroughs of schools as least 2x/week
- I Visions - daily - approval of requisitions, approval of principal leave
- Personnel meetings - Feb/Mar
- Graduate Credits
- Job Fairs/Recruitment - Spring/ongoing
- College liaison with Education Departments - student teachers/recruitment
- Panorama Survey - organization, release, and analysis
- Internship Coordinator Oversight - monthly/quarterly meetings
- Job Opening Board - Certified - starting in January
- Relationship building a foundation for all activities
- Other duties as needed
