We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources professional to oversee all aspects of human resources within the District. This is a non- bargaining full-time, 12-month position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. Regular work hours are 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field required.
  • 3-5 years of generalist experience in human resources, preferably in a public school setting.
  • Experience with payroll processing and electronic timekeeping strongly preferred.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with staff, students, and community members.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update all personnel files.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of salary budgets across multiple programs.
  • Conduct new employee orientation.
  • Collaborate with payroll specialist and third-party payroll provider to process payroll accurately and on time.
  • File workers’ compensation claims and state-mandated reports in compliance with deadlines.
  • Manage HR and payroll data within Skyward Financial.
  • Administer FMLA and other leave programs.
  • Apply bargaining contract provisions to manage salaries, benefits, and staff inquiries.
  • Serve as a resource and advisor to the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent on HR issues, including matters related to bargaining agreements.
