Position Summary:
The Human Resources Director is a key strategic leader responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support the organization’s overall business plan and long-term goals. This role oversees all core human resource functions, including talent acquisition, organizational development, performance management, training, compensation and benefits, employee relations, compliance, and workplace culture. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, the HR Director ensures alignment between people strategies and business objectives while leading workforce planning, talent management, and succession initiatives to build a strong talent pipeline. The position manages recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent, fosters a culture of engagement and inclusion, and ensures compliance with all labor laws, regulations, and internal policies. The HR Director also supervises and develops HR team members, implements competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs, and manages performance and rewards systems. By leveraging HR analytics and organizational data, the Director provides actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and continuous improvement across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals and business objectives
- Develop and execute benefit strategies working with company leadership and TPA's
- Ensure all compliance reporting for benefits, and 401k are completed by deadlines
- Lead workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning initiatives
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent
- Guide organizational change and manage employee engagement and culture initiatives
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Supervise HR team members and provide coaching, development, and performance management
- Develop and manage compensation, benefits strategies
- Manage rewards programs to ensure competitiveness and equity
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to drive data-based decision making
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and managers on HR and organizational matters
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, or related field; Master’s Degree or MBA preferred
- 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or strategic role
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, Human Resources best practices, and organizational development
- Provel leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Experience in managing Human Resources functions across multiple locations or business units preferred
- Strategic thinkers with strong business acumen preferred
- Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
- Proactive, innovative, and solution-oriented mindset preferred
- High emotional intelligence and discretion with confidential information
