Acadia Healthcare and Geisinger Health have partnered and opened a state-of-the-art, 96-bed behavioral health hospital in Danville, PA. This brand new facility is providing inpatient treatment, intensive outpatient programming, and ECT services for both pediatric and adult patients. It will also serve as a teaching hospital for Geisinger’s College of Health Sciences, helping shape the next generation of behavioral health professionals.

 

This hospital will meet the urgent need for accessible, high-quality psychiatric care in the region—expanding capacity and improving lives. We’re looking for a Human Resources Director who is ready to lead and make a lasting impact.

 

We are looking for an onsite Human Resources Director.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Lead HR Strategy: Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Drive Talent Acquisition: Manage full-cycle recruiting and implement creative strategies to attract top talent.
  • Champion Engagement: Develop programs that boost retention and foster an inclusive, empowering culture.
  • Advise Leaders: Provide guidance on staffing, compensation, benefits, workforce planning, and employee relations.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain accurate HR documentation and uphold regulatory standards.
  • Mentor & Develop: Lead and grow an HR team committed to excellence.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years in HR leadership with expertise in recruitment, training, compensation, and HR systems.
  • Preferred: Professional HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP), Inpatient behavioral health HR experience and Union/Labor relations experience.
  • Skills: Strategic thinker, relationship builder, and problem solver with a passion for people.
