Overview:
Under occasional supervision, the HR Recruiting Coordinator supports and facilitates HR recruitment processes. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and facilitating recruitment strategies while sourcing talent to meet the organization’s workforce needs. A strong understanding of general HR functions is essential. 

Key Functions:

  • Research, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates, with a strong focus on promoting inclusion and building a culturally rich workforce.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, effectively communicating what makes the organization a great place to work. Promote the company's values and culture at every opportunity, both internally and externally, ensuring alignment with the employer brand.
  • Foster community relationships by engaging with local organizations, participating in outreach events, and building long-term connections to strengthen talent pipelines. Represent the company at community events and job fairs to maintain a positive presence in the community.
  • Source qualified applicants through a variety of tools and resources, including job boards, social media, community events, and outreach programs. Collaborate with the marketing team on outreach strategies to improve visibility and attract top talent.
  • Lead the organization of hiring events (internal and external) such as job fairs and company-sponsored activities like Earth Day and Sunset Sessions, ensuring they are well-coordinated and effectively staffed.
  • Collaborate with department managers to create detailed job descriptions and define hiring criteria, ensuring that all recruitment efforts align with departmental needs and organizational goals.
  • Screen candidates, schedule interviews, and provide support to hiring managers throughout the interview process.
  • Maintain the recruiting database via ADP and manage contact data from hiring events. Facilitate effective communication with potential recruits and keep data organized.
  • Serve as the ADP Recruitment Module expert, training hiring managers on its processes and procedures, and providing troubleshooting support as needed.
  • Build strong relationships with department managers, understanding their hiring needs and collaborating with them to identify future staffing requirements. Assist in coordinating manager participation at hiring events.
  • Manage the recruitment budget, ensuring effective use of resources for hiring collateral, advertisements, and events. Track expenditures related to recruitment activities to ensure alignment with budgetary goals.
  • Assist with high-volume seasonal hiring, such as for summer camp and FLYERS, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process.
  • Understand background checks, I-9, and E-Verify processes, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare reports and correspondence related to recruiting activities and collect data as requested.
  • Assist with special projects as needed to support broader HR initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certificate in Human Resources and/or College degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
  • 2-4 years of Recruitment/Talent Acquisition working in Human Resources field
  • ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred

REPORTING TO THIS POSITION
 
No supervisory responsibilities 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to exert up to twenty-five pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects when needed. Most work is sedentary; but it may be necessary to remain on feet for extended periods of time.
