HR Specialist (Recruitment and Staff Experience)

We are currently recruiting an HR Specialist (Recruitment and Staff Experience) for a full time opportunity on our HR team.

This will be a contract position until August 2027.

This role contributes to Kindred’s external talent strategy through: articulating and promoting Kindred’s employer brand and value proposition; developing Kindred’s capabilities and partnerships in sourcing a wide and diverse talent pool; coordinating best-in-class recruitment activities and an onboarding process that promotes inclusion, belonging and supports retention. In addition, this role will deliver Kindred’s internal talent strategy by supporting current team members and leaders through talent development and a supportive employee experience.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop best in class recruitment practices to fulfill strategies for organizational growth.
• Support leaders throughout the staffing process, including: job design, job posting, recruitment strategy, talent acquisition, screening, and selection.
• Review and expand the onboarding program throughout the introductory period to create a positive employee experience and support development and retention.
• Provide efficient service delivery and analytics for the credit union.
• Contribute in a variety of HR program and project areas to help provide solutions and advice to support team members and leaders.
• Must be willing and able to travel to various branch locations for interviews (KW, Elmira, New Hamburg, Aylmer, Milverton and Mount Forest)

Plus, you bring your qualifications and experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in human resources
• Direct experience in full-cycle recruitment across a variety of organizational levels and functions
• Strong skills in communication and relationship building
• Familiarity with HRIS (UKG) platforms and applicant tracking systems is an asset
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Skills in marketing, social media beneficial
• CHRP designation beneficial

• Starting salary $53,500 - 66,500
