What you’ll be doing
You will report to the Global HR Manager and be responsible for the HR related processes of the local Cape Town office. Their overall staff complement globally is 600 employees. You will be responsible for a full generalist role with a big focus on the full recruitment process (bulk recruitment), Talent Management, Performance Management, Training, ER and IR for a staff compliment of nearly 300 employees. The company has a high performance culture, for many of their roles, young employees are hired and are skilled up internally and taught the tools of their trade. We’re looking for someone with a passion for talent development and the HR Director has many exciting projects they’d love this person to tackle so we’re looking for that “can do”, team spirit and eagerness to take on new challenges.
Where you’ll be doing it
The role will at first be full office based in town CBD. After probation, there is 2 days in office. The company is part of a large international group and their culture is young, diverse and they embrace individualism. While you’re part of a large international and can enjoy the benefits of that, you’ll be part of a smaller part of that where you’ll able to connect with all employees. Their working hours are flexible but you’ll need to be available within the core hours of 9am to 4pm.
What you’ll need
A 3 year HR diploma or degree with minimum 2 years HR generalist experience especially having done the full recruitment lifecycle. You will need to be able to multitask and cope well in a fast paced and pressurised environment. We’re looking for someone that’s a real go getter, loves people and from either a BPO / Call centre ideally but if you’re able to demonstrate you’re able to work well in a fast paced multicultural/multinational environment well, we’d still love to hear from you. You will need to be proficient in MS Office.
