HR Director – Manila
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Director to lead our People & Culture function in the Philippines and serve as a key partner to both Manila and US leadership teams. This leader will oversee a team of HR professionals, support business partners across three strategic locations in Metro Manila (Makati, Cubao, Alabang), and play a critical role in scaling a fast-growing company with 24/7 operations.
The role is based on a flexi-day shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) schedule, hybrid RTO-WFH set-up and reports directly to the General Manager and ManCom.
Key Responsibilities
•Act as a strategic partner to Manila and US executives, aligning policies, culture, and priorities across geographies.
•Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR professionals while supporting business partners across multiple Metro Manila sites.
•Oversee all People & Culture functions in the Philippines, including talent acquisition, onboarding, learning & development, employee relations, compensation & benefits, engagement, and HR compliance.
•Drive performance management, career growth, and succession planning programs to strengthen leadership pipelines and retain top talent.
•Build career development systems that promote internal mobility and grow talent from within.
•Partner with business and operations leaders to forecast talent needs and build a sustainable global talent pipeline.
•Continuously improve HR policies to meet the needs of a highly technical workforce while ensuring compliance with Philippine labor law and global standards.
•Design and deliver employee engagement initiatives, including surveys and action plans, to elevate satisfaction and organizational health.
•Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) programs to foster innovation, belonging, and cross-cultural collaboration.
•Lead change management initiatives that support cultural transformation and organizational growth.
•Use people analytics to develop executive dashboards tracking attrition, hiring velocity, engagement, and talent ROI.
•Develop and maintain a competitive Total Rewards strategy through market benchmarking and holistic well-being programs (mental health, financial wellness, work-life balance).
•Build workforce contingency plans to mitigate risks such as attrition spikes, regulatory changes, and external disruptions.
•Manage external relations with DOLE, PEZA, and industry associations to ensure compliance and stay ahead of labor market trends.
•Prepare, manage and optimize the People & Culture budget.
•Develop and maintain job levelling and salary structure aligned with the competencies of the workforce.
Must Have Qualifications
•Proven track record of successfully leading HR in a fast-growing company, ideally in professional services.
•Experience building talent, compensation, and rewards programs, including market benchmarking and holistic well-being strategies.
•Demonstrated expertise in career ladders, leadership pipelines, and succession planning.
•Strong knowledge of Philippine labor law and government reporting requirements (DOLE, PEZA, SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth).
•Experienced in multinational or matrixed organizations with global alignment.
•Skilled in implementing and enhancing HRIS, ATS, performance management, and digital HR tools for scale and efficiency.
•Strong background in organizational change management, cultural transformation, and employee engagement.
•Excellent stakeholder management skills with C-level and cross-cultural teams.
•Exceptional communication and influencing abilities, with the leadership presence to inspire employees across all levels.
•Experience designing and executing DEI strategies that strengthen belonging, innovation, and retention.
•Strong data analytics capability with experience co-building and using dashboards and executive reports; effective in partnering with Operations and cross-functional leaders to drive decisions, improve processes, and lead/mentor HR and company leadership teams.
