SUMMARY: 

The HRBP – People Performance & Talent Development partners with business leaders to build a high-performing, future-ready workforce through effective performance management, talent development, and succession planning strategies. This role drives the design and execution of talent processes such as performance reviews, talent reviews, and capability planning, while leveraging data and insights to identify gaps, strengthen leadership pipelines, and support organizational effectiveness. Acting as a strategic advisor, the HRBP enables a culture of continuous development, accountability, and performance excellence aligned with business objectives.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Performance Management
    • Goal Setting – defining specific performance objectives & measurable outcomes to support organizational success and employee development
    • Semi-Annual & Annual Reviews – facilitate scheduled performance evaluations to measure employee performance, provide feedback, & support professional growth & accountability
    • Continuous Feedback & Check-ins – implement ongoing performance conversations & documented check-ins to ensure alignment on goals, performance expectations, development opportunities, & organizational priorities
  • Talent Development
    • Learning & Development Programs – develops & manages employee training & professional development programs to enhance skills, improve performance, & support career progression aligned with saturn goals.
    • Leadership Development – develops & manages leadership training programs that prepare employees & managers for increased responsibility, organizational impact, & career advancement.
    • Career Pathing & Internal Mobility – develop career pathing & internal mobility programs that help employees grow their careers, build new skills, and pursue advancement opportunities within saturn.
    • Skills & Capability Building – develop programs that build employee skills & saturn’s capabilities through targeted training, upskilling, & professional development initiatives.
  • Talent Management
    • Succession Planning – develop & oversee succession planning programs that prepare employees for future leadership & critical business roles through targeted development & talent assessment.
    • High-potential (HiPo) Programs – develop & oversee HiPo talent programs that prepare emerging leaders for future leadership & strategic business opportunities.
    • Talent Reviews (9-Block) - facilitate talent review processes using the 9-Block to assess employee performance and potential, identify high-potential talent, and support succession planning
    • Workforce Capability Planning - partner with business leaders to assess current and future workforce capability needs, identify skill gaps, and develop strategic talent plans aligned to organizational goals.
  • Employee Relations
    • Employee Investigations - conduct employee investigations involving workplace concerns, policy violations, performance issues, and employee complaints in a fair, timely, and confidential manner.
    • Conflict Resolution - facilitate effective conflict resolution by partnering with employees and leaders to address workplace concerns, improve communication, and foster positive working relationships.
    • Disciplinary Processes - advise and support leaders in administering disciplinary processes related to performance, conduct, and policy violations in a consistent, fair, and legally compliant manner.
    • Case Management - manage employee relations cases from intake through resolution, ensuring timely, accurate, and confidential handling of workplace concerns, investigations, and performance-related matters.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience: 

  • Prior Manufacturing HR Experience is preferred
  • Knowledge and Experience with recruiting, payroll, benefits, and training 
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field desired


Computer and Technology Skills:  

  • Ability to use MS Office Suite is required
  • HRIS experience/knowledge (w/ ADP is desired, but not required) 

 

Language Skills:  

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. German language speaking skills is another advantage.

 

Mathematical Skills: 

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and ability to apply concepts such as: fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. 

 

Reasoning Ability: 

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
