Description
KFC (Pty) Ltd is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial-minded individual to join our BMU Human Resources department as the Head of People and Culture Equity. This role is integral to our HR strategic agenda, focusing on attracting, developing, rewarding, and engaging talent across our restaurants. The successful candidate will work closely with the Region Coach and their team, ensuring a strong people plan and a positive impact on our bottom line. This role demands a 'can-do' attitude, with a focus on supporting the entrepreneurial spirit and growth of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Attract talent into restaurants by collaborating with the resourcing team and driving internal talent pipelines.
  • Ensure management optimums are met, placing the right people in the right roles.
  • Develop RGM and Area Coach capabilities through effective coaching and creative development solutions.
  • Engage and champion Yum's 'How We Win Together' Values, fostering an engaging culture for all team members.
  • Implement a compensation and benefits strategy to retain and engage top talent.
  • Manage the pay review process and inform teams of KFC's benefits program.
  • Partner with Area Coaches to manage employee P&L and address underperformance or ER issues.
  • Analyze People Survey results and develop action plans to enhance employee engagement.
  • Solve problems related to talent, structures, performance, and culture across stores.
  • Make decisions regarding talent acquisition, G&A costs, and performance management.


Qualifications
  • A relevant completed tertiary qualification, preferably in a business-related discipline.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of Generalist HR experience, with team and multi-site management.
  • Experience in a remotely based, field HR role is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Sound business acumen and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to enhance and modify existing processes and systems.
  • Supervision of a Junior HRBP Equity and a Talent Sourcing Manager.
  • Experience in solving problems related to talent, structures, and culture.
  • Proven decision-making skills in talent acquisition and performance management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
