Our client is a major healthcare provider based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

They are seeking an empathetic and resilient Group HR Director with a strong background in the healthcare industry to lead and unify human resources strategy across their group of subsidiaries. In this role, you will work closely with executive leadership to shape people strategy, strengthen organizational culture, and ensure HR practices support clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and long-term growth.

Expats are welcome to apply - however, fluency in Vietnamese and deep integration/acceptance of local working culture is absolutely REQUIRED.

Previous group-level experience is also REQUIRED.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and execute group-wide HR strategy aligned with business, clinical, and organizational objectives.
  • Oversee all core HR functions including recruitment, talent development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
  • Drive leadership development, succession planning, and high-potential talent programs across the group.
  • Establish and standardize HR policies, processes, and governance across multiple locations and entities.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, healthcare regulations, and internal HR standards.
  • Lead organizational design initiatives to support growth, restructuring, or transformation programs.
  • Manage change management initiatives related to mergers, expansions, digital transformation, or operational improvements.
  • Oversee HR analytics, workforce reporting, and KPI tracking to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Promote a strong culture of engagement, accountability, and ethical conduct.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with the past 3 years in leadership roles. Almost exclusive preference for candidates coming from the healthcare or healthcare-adjacent sectors, unless they possess a very strong background + references.
  • Previous group-level experience is required.
  • Deep knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, and HR best practices within highly-regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading organizational change and transformation initiatives.

  • Strategic mindset combined with strong operational execution capabilities.

  • Willingness to work Saturdays from 8 AM - 12 PM, onsite.

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
