Big Guns Energy Services is now hiring for an Experienced Wireline Operator/Driver who is motivated, safety-focused, and ready to grow within our team. This is a Full-time position is based in Bonnnyville, Ab. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and transport equipment to and from job sites
  • Assist with assembly and maintenance of tools and equipment
  • Conduct vehicle and equipment safety checks
  • Follow directions from supervisors and management
  • Rig in/out wireline units, both standalone and rig assist
  • Complete hazard assessments prior to work
  • Spot equipment safely on sites
  • Assemble and disassemble job-specific tools and equipment as required
  • Assist in the assembly of different perforating assemblies
  • Ensure safe operations on location
  • Clean, service, and maintain tools/equipment after job completion
  • Report incidents, accidents, and near misses—safety is everyone’s responsibility

The ideal candidate currently resides in Bonnyville/Cold Lake or is willing to relocate to the area. The shift for this role is 16 on/5 off.

 Skills & Qualifications:

The Successful candidate must possess:

  • Valid Class 3Q driver’s license with clean abstract
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work well in a team environment
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Mechanical aptitude and solid equipment maintenance knowledge
  • Flexible with scheduling, including long/irregular hours and 24-hour call availability
  • Willingness to learn, make continuous improvements, and grow within the company
  • Safety certifications: H2S, First Aid, and other oilfield safety tickets are an asset
  • Must be able to complete logbooks, 300-hour inspections, and driver vehicle inspection reports accurately
  • Background check required

Compensation:

This role includes an annual salary based on experience and competitive day rates.
