Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop strong partnership with General Managers and site leadership to understand their business needs, goals and provide people guidance
- Provide day to day support to people including benefits, ADP access, policies and compliance
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on complex people matters
- Proactively analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and develop proactive solutions
- Collaborate with the People Group to develop and implement initiatives and programs that support company and department initiatives, drive people engagement and increase retention
- Continuous education regarding best practices and legal requirements to ensure compliance
- Serve as an advocate for people, ensuring their concerns and feedback are heard and addressed
- Lead, participate in and partner on company and site initiatives to drive change, streamline processes and continue building on our people first mindset
- Ability to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs arise
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Any other task or duty that is deemed necessary by management.

Work Environment / Physical Demands
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm’s length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at desk in traditional office environment
- Ability to travel up to 25% to remote facilities

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of progressive experience within HR
- Benefits Administration/Open enrollment facilitation
- Familiarity with LOA, DOL, FLSA, FMLA, and other local and federal guidelines
- Ability to multi-task with a strong attention to details
- Experience in multiple manufacturing locations
- Highly organized and able to drive projects independently
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and demonstrated knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Comfort learning new technologies
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- SHRM (CP/SCP) or HRCI (PHR/SPHR) certification
- Experience in a Union environment
- HRIS implementation experience
- Ability to collaborate and influence a team
- Developing and delivering training
- Analytic, strategic, and critical thinking skills
