An employee in this class, under the direction of the Human Resources Director, will strategize ways to support and encourage employee engagement in areas of performance, growth, and development. An employee in this class will use knowledge and experience to investigate and develop areas in the County where staff growth and development can be utilized, fostered, and encouraged.
1. Possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, AND at least one (1) year of professional experience in human resources, employee development, or recruitment and retention. Experience supporting departmental communications and familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), including implementation or maintenance, is preferred.
OR
Possess an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, AND at least three (3) of professional experience in human resources, employee development, or recruitment and retention. Experience supporting departmental communications and familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), including implementation or maintenance, is preferred.
2. Must possess a valid driver’s license.

An employee in this class performs generally sedentary work activities requiring occasional lifting of objects weighing thirty-five (35) pounds or less.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
An Engagement Analyst, under the general direction of the Human Resources Director, performs job duties on an independent basis in compliance with established policies and procedures.
