Roloff Construction is looking for a people-focused Employee Experience Coordinator to join our team of employee-owners and support the crews and staff who build our community’s infrastructure. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends to accommodate career fair and other recruiting opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting for field and office positions, from sourcing and phone screens through interviews and offers, while building relationships with trade schools, community programs, and other talent pipelines.
- Coordinate new-hire onboarding, including I-9/E-Verify, benefits enrollment, safety orientation scheduling, and 30/60/90-day check-ins.
- Administer benefits, leave, and payroll support, including health, dental, vision, and 401(k)/ESOP enrollments, open enrollment, unemployment insurance, and short-term disability.
- Serve as a go-to resource for employees and supervisors, answering questions, addressing concerns, and supporting performance conversations and documentation.
- Keep employee records compliant and audit-ready, including I-9s, certifications, CDL/DOT records, and OSHA logs.
- Champion our ownership culture by supporting ESOP education and events, and by visiting job sites to connect with field crews.

Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment law and proficiency with HRIS systems; Paycom experience a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the discretion to handle confidential and pay-related conversations.
- Current valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets our insurance eligibility requirements.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred; bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- Construction or heavy civil experience strongly preferred.
