Position Title: Employee Engagement & Talent Coordinator

Position Location: Remote - work virtually from anywhere in the United States


JOB SUMMARY

The Employee Engagement & Talent Coordinator provides administrative, logistical, and program support to DLB’s employee engagement and early-career initiatives. This role plays a critical part in supporting recruiting operations, candidate experience, career fair coordination, and internal engagement activities.


This position is well-suited for an early career Human Resources professional with generalist experience who enjoys working with people, coordinating events, and supporting recruitment and engagement programs. The Employee Engagement & Talent Coordinator ensures smooth execution of interview scheduling, candidate communication, resume review, and career fair logistics while contributing to a positive employee and candidate experience.


The Employee Engagement & Talent Coordinator receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects, tasks, or assignments. May work independently, consistently exercising discretion and independent judgment on individual work, or may work under immediate supervision. May serve as lead on routine projects, tasks or assignments of limited scope.


This person will communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Recruiting & Candidate Support

  • Lead post–career fair and employee engagement candidate follow-up, acting as the primary communicator for career fair VIP and “golden-ticket” candidates to ensure timely, high-touch outreach and engagement.
  • Coordinate next-step logistics for career fair candidates, including scheduling and supporting interviews in partnership with recruiters and hiring managers across multiple time zones.
  • Monitor candidate pipeline status and proactively follow up with recruiters and hiring managers to keep processes moving.
  • Review resumes and applications, conduct initial screening for basic qualifications, and route candidates as needed.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support recruiters and HR team members with recruiting-related administrative tasks as needed.

Career Fairs & Early-Career Engagement Support

  • Research and identify new university partnerships, career fair opportunities, professional associations, and early-career engagement forums aligned with DLB’s hiring needs.
  • Assist with planning, organizing, and executing college career fairs, campus events, early-career outreach initiatives, and employee training events.
  • Coordinate logistics for career fairs and engagement events, including registration, materials, shipping, and scheduling of attendees.
  • Support communication with universities, career services offices, and student organizations.
  • Track participation, resumes collected, and follow-up actions related to career fairs and early-career events.

Employee Engagement & HR Program Support

  • Assist with coordination of employee engagement activities, recognition initiatives, and internal events.
  • Support onboarding, engagement and training activities for interns and early-career employees.
  • Help prepare communication materials, calendars, and tracking tools for engagement programs.
  • Maintain organized records, documentation, and reporting related to engagement initiatives.

General HR & Administrative Support

  • Provide general HR administrative support, including data tracking, document management, and reporting.
  • Assist with special projects and HR initiatives as assigned.
  • Ensure tasks and deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and within established guidelines.

Technology, Digital Tools & AI-Enabled Efficiency

  • Leverage AI-enabled and digital tools to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and support consistent, high-quality work output.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and demonstrate a continuous learning mindset, seeking out new technologies, skills, and methods that elevate individual and team performance.
  • Adapt to emerging technologies and evolving digital workflows, actively supporting the integration and adoption of innovative tools across the organization.

Completion of Assigned Tasks and Deliverables on Time and on Budget

  • Performs Other Related Duties as Assigned


POSITION REQUIREMENTS (INTERMEDIATE LEVEL FOR ALL THE FOLLOWING)

  • Knowledge of principles and best practices for employee engagement, campus recruiting, and early-career development.
  • Ability to coordinate interviews, manage candidate communications, and support recruiting activities.
  • Ability to organize and support career fairs, campus recruiting, and employee engagement events.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to represent DLB professionally to internal and external audiences.
  • Skilled at using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), along with exceptional organizational skills for file management
  • Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows, optimize operational processes, and contribute to company-wide innovation
  • Ability to work successfully in a remote environment through effective communication and organizational skills, self-motivation, proactiveness and resourcefulness in a distraction free workspace
  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues, coworkers, clients, vendors
  • Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently with moderate supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines

TRAVEL / RELOCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Up to 20%, this may include travel to any or all 50 US states
  • Travel is defined as physically leaving home on behalf of business activities including but not limited to client sites, meetings with other employees, meetings for business development purposes, running errands on behalf of the business, attending industry conferences, etc.


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field preferred
