Job Title:    Employee Engagement Specialist 

Locations:     4005 Campus Dr., Fort Worth, Texas

Work Hours:  Full Time – 8:00 am start time, Monday Through Friday  

Salary:   Based on experience

General Job Duties:    Research, maintain up-to-date knowledge of and develop relationships with local community services to meet the needs of Goodwill employees seeking assistance in areas such as but not limited to housing, healthcare, financial empowerment, and transportation. Travel to and communicate regularly with employees at 30+ outlying locations, across 5 counties to assess needs, promote the GoodLife program and discuss resources available. Administer recognition programs for employee life events, and important milestones. Coordinate annual employee support programs including back to school supplies and angel tree. Develop and maintain engaging materials to educate, highlight and promote wellness programs and resources such as flyers, surveys, presentations, online mobile sites, videos, etc. Create and send monthly newsletters to inform employees of initiatives, resources and current events. Communicate additional content through texting software and group email. Coordinate partners and/or lead informational wellness workshops, plan virtual or on-site wellness events for employees. Maintain records of services provided, and related reporting. 

 Be knowledgeable of policies, procedures, and legislative regulations related to employee leaves and accommodations in order to direct employees to appropriate policies and processes. Provide information to employees on leave & /or accommodation policies, processes, and required forms. Refer employees and managers to appropriate HR personnel for evaluation of eligibility or navigating complex leave &/or accommodations scenarios.Be knowledgeable and provide details on employee benefits and where to direct employees for further information. Upon request, assist with departmental annual enrollment efforts. Understand administrative functions of the Goodwill NCT Learning Management System (LMS) and provide support in this area upon request. Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to backing up other functions within the HR department. 

 Skills/Qualifications:    Bachelor’s degree in human services, Social Services, Psychology, Rehabilitative Science, Human Resources, Communications or related field required.  At least two (2) years’ experience in a professional office setting utilizing MS office products is required. Previous experience working with individuals in crisis or livelihood issues is preferred. Dynamic, personable, outgoing with excellent customer service and employee relations skills as well as strong written/oral communication skills with the ability to work with individuals who are disabled/disadvantaged. Bilingual is a plus. Strong collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills. Technical skills to navigate case management software and online mobile site are required. Graphic design skills or video/audio editing are highly desirable. Must have excellent judgment and be capable of working in a confidential environment. 

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:  Standard office environment with routine travel to outlying locations. Provide own transportation for travel to off-site locations. This position requires the incumbent to have communication capabilities and hotspot capabilities via cell phone and/or Smartphone technology.  Ability to communicate effectively with employees experiencing disabilities or other barriers. 

Legal Requirements:   Documentation to satisfy I-9.  Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Report.
