Employee Engagement Coordinator

Employee Experience Coordinator Job Details: 

  1. Recruitment, Onboarding and offboarding support
    • Assist the Talent Acquisition Manager in the recruiting process to include managing applicants from submission of application through the selection and placement processes.
    • Assist in screening and identifying candidates that fit open job positions based on qualifications and company culture while complying with federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Communicate and build professional working relationships with hiring managers.  
    • Assist in coordinating new hire orientation, ensuring a smooth transition into the company
    • Organize welcome kits, office tours, and first day logistics
    • Assist in the maintenance and administration of the Company’s personnel processes and related functions; assist in the maintenance of Personnel Files, I-9s, DOT and medical files
    • Assist as needed with offboarding procedures, including exit interviews
  2. Employee Engagement
    • Work closely with managers, supervisors, and employees to improve relationships, work environment, retention, and morale
    • Support the development of employee surveys, analyzing results to identify areas for improvement
    • Assist as needed with 30-day new hire check-ins
  3. Culture and Inclusion
    • Promote a diverse, inclusive, and equitable work environment through events, initiatives, and training support.
    • Act as a culture ambassador by modeling organizational values and encouraging employee participation in company culture efforts.
  4. Administrative & Operational Support
    • Maintain accurate employee records and assist with documentation related to HR policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with HR, IT, and Safety teams to support operations and employee needs
    • Assist with tracking and reporting on engagement metrics
  5.   Employee Feedback & Experience
    • Serve as a liaison for employees’ questions or concerns related to the workplace environment
    • Assist in diagnosing issues contributing to turnover
    • Help identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the employee experience lifecycle
    • Address and resolve employee concerns in a timely and professional manner

Job Qualifications:

  • High School or GED equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant HR experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
  • Must be comfortable with regular public speaking
  • Demonstrate proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint programs
  • Demonstrate an exceptional ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external clients while providing high levels of service by communicating clear and timely responses to issues, requests, problems, and regular reporting
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently while functioning as a member of a team through communication and engagement in self-directed resourcefulness and analytical thinking
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle record and valid driver's license
  • Pre-employment  background
  • Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds, as well as lift 158 pounds up to 24” off the ground
