Job Responsibilities

The Director of readySC Talent Acquisitions develops, implements, and administers a state-wide, comprehensive project recruitment and talent acquisition strategy. Designs, delivers, and implements strategies to recruit and staff positions for readySC projects to fulfill the commitments of the State of South Carolina and South Carolina Technical College System. Plans, develops, and leads a Talent and Recruitment strategy for readySC projects, including implementation of innovative recruitment plans and strategies to include, participation in recruitment fairs, networking activities, company specific community engagement initiatives, in supporting and fulfilling the hiring needs of readySC projects and workforce initiatives for the entire State. Oversees and directs the statewide centralized application screening team. Develops and presents the recruitment and talent acquisition portion of the Scope of Work for all readySC projects in collaboration with the readySC Area Directors. Participates in the Discovery process to identify recruitment and workforce needs for internal project staffing and the client company. Manages the budget for all recruitment, outreach, staffing, and advertising needs for all relevant readySC projects based upon the projects Scope of Work and the client company staffing timelines. Develops, maintains, and manages relationships with external recruitment sources, including staffing agencies, job boards, higher education institutions, etc. to attract a diverse pool of qualified applicants.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A bachelor’s degree and relevant program experience. Ability to provide and demonstrate strong recruiting and talent acquisition expertise in a collegial manner. A sound understanding of recruitment processes and strategies. Familiarity with social media recruitment. Ability to think strategically and work in a team environment. Ability to manage project confidentiality and company proprietary information.  Demonstrated knowledge of employment labor laws. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail, analytical, interpersonal, time management, problem-solving, prioritization, multitasking, and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
