Evermore Orlando Resort is an expansive and technically complex property spanning 1,100 acres with multiple operational components. The resort integrates resort-owned vacation rental homes, large-scale water features, and extensive recreational infrastructure. The eight-acre Evermore Bay lagoon includes advanced water treatment, circulation, and safety systems that require continuous monitoring. Two championship golf courses, numerous pools, water sports facilities, and a wide range of amenities, including pickleball courts, event spaces, and dining venues, further enhance the offerings. This diverse environment demands sophisticated engineering oversight to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability across all systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Champion the People & Culture brand, reinforcing a culture of TOGETHERNESS, accountability, and engagement.
- Provide guidance and support to the leadership team, management, and team members to maximize the resort's financial goals, guest experience, and service.
- Support legal compliance, monitor liabilities, and establish council relationships.
- Will work with finance on department annual budget, AP, AR & PNL’s.
- Collaborates with payroll for management of team member timecards, payroll approval, garnishment, benefits deduction, and time-off requests.
- Partner with leaders to forecast staffing needs, support workforce planning, and improve talent pipelines.
- Support and enhance leadership training and development initiatives aligned with luxury service standards.
- Collaborate on onboarding, orientation, and ongoing learning programs that elevate the Team Member experience.
- Support culture-building initiatives that position the organization as one of the best places to work in the region by conducting opinion culture surveys and action planning.
- Implement, and manage initiatives for a business alignment with Evermore's values and culture.
- Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends and development programs.
- Oversee, manage workers compensation injuries, competitive benefits, and health insurance programs, ensuring timely monthly billing.
- Conduct Team Member relations and service investigations utilizing excellent problem skills, empathy, and an unbiased approach while applying objective facts.
- Support compensation, benefits, incentive programs, and recognition initiatives and programs.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in HR processes, oversee SOP, manage policies, and maintain systems.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Skills, and Experience:
- College degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of human resources director level experience required in a high-volume resort.
- Professional Human Resources certification preferred.
- Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills in a constantly changing paced environment.
- Proficient in Google business workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to read and understand financial and budgets.
- High emotional intelligence and excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to interact with a wide range of people.
- Outstanding diligence, multi-tasking, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to multi-task
- Must stay current with social trends, financial impacts, and policy changes that may impact the resort operations.
- Experience with culture building and implementing diversity, inclusion, and equity programs.
- Initiative-taker that can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capable of working scheduled hours, including weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines/instructions in English.
- Spanish-speaking preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to safely lift, pull and push up to twenty-five pounds.
- Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach periodically.
- Able to sit and use the computer for hours at a time.
- Subject to environmental conditions, work activities can occur inside and outside.
- Visually look at a computer for extended periods.
- Repetitive hand motions, such as typing.
