About The BUSY School
The BUSY School offers a fresh opportunity for Year 11 and 12 students who are not thriving in traditional schooling. We are a not-for-profit special assistance school with 10 campuses across Queensland, and we have one clear goal: help young people re-engage, finish school and take real steps towards work or further study.
Educate. Empower. Employ. That’s what we do.
About the Position
The Digital Learning Designer works closely with subject matter experts to develop, adapt, and quality-assure engaging online learning objects, aligned with the needs of The BUSY School students and staff.
This role leads the development and implementation of differentiated learning pathways, ensuring alignment with two-lane assessment methodologies and the integration of contemporary online pedagogies across all course design. It supports the effective use of a diverse range of educational technologies - not only AI, but also gamification platforms, real-time collaboration tools, interactive content systems, and virtual environments - to enhance engagement, accessibility, and personalised learning.
A strong understanding of how these tools can be embedded into teaching practice is essential, along with the ability to design assessments and learning experiences that embrace innovation while maintaining academic quality and integrity.
