Description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Associate Experience Specialist will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of experiences, programs, events, and activities aimed at improving associate engagement, team collaboration, finding solutions to reduce turnover and overall job satisfaction across the Choctaw Nation workforce. 

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Primary Tasks:

  1. Provide information, education, and upskill to all levels of people leaders to maximize the associate experience for the benefit of the tribe and the wellbeing of our associates.
  2. Partner across the organization to obtain feedback pertaining to the associate experience and provide descriptive, diagnostic, predictive analysis and recommendations for new actions and initiatives to address identified concerns and roadblocks. Develops timely and professional report outs.
  3. Provide ongoing support to all levels of leadership for engagement and experiences program optimization to include troubleshooting platform issues with vendors and responding to associate requests.
  4. Develop and documents key tactical communication toolkits to ensure pre-, day of and post- associate activities/events/programs messaging is provided to Senior leadership, people leaders and associates. Conducts after-action meetings to gather and analyze feedback from event participants, making data-driven improvements for future events.
  5. Research and develop recommendations for key tribal-wide and/or Human Resources experience initiatives and produce high-quality deliverables that meet business case needs. (e.g. Employer of Choice – Awards Strategy, Advising Interactions)
  6. Coordinate organizational associate activities, events, and programs (e.g., Associate of the Quarter, Service Milestones, Achievers, Voice of Associate), updating of related records, procedures, and processes as assigned. Maintains inventory of materials and documents (plaques, certificates, décor).
  7. Perform other duties as may be assigned.
  8. Attend associate team meetings to learn more about associate engagement and retention efforts within the programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resource Administration, or related field or 4 years of directly related experience in lieu of education.
  • Strong writing, public speaking, business analysis, project management and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of associate engagement concepts 
  • Ability to travel to events.
  • Copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Fully competent in Microsoft Office suite to produce high quality reports.
  • Two (2) years of related customer service experience in an advisory and/or consultant capacity

 



Responsibilities
You will participate in marketing engagement activities to associates in assigned region and Nation-wide. Conduct nominal groups. Consolidate, evaluate, and present results. Follow up with HR and department management on actions assisting with implementing improvement plans. Explore local interest in Employee Resource Groups. Organize and monitor. Identify and market volunteer opportunities associates in assigned region; track volunteer hours. Collaborate on and contribute original news/marketing items to a digital newsletter. You will monitor AE website and Facebook page. Post relevant information. Suggest format/content revisions, submit approved edits for implementation, and monitor for implementation. Promote an excellent associate experience at all levels of the organization and surrounding community. Assist management with responding to associates’ needs as identified through associate surveys. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.

Qualifications
·         Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Administration, or related field or 4 years related experience. ·         Writing, public speaking, business analysis, and problem-solving skills ·         Knowledge of current advances in people and culture change ·         Customer service experience in an advisory and consultant capacity
