Description

The Administration Officer – Deputy Principals Support and Parent Engagement plays a key role in strengthening the connection between the College, its families, and the wider community. This position provides high‑level administrative support to the Deputy Principals (Junior and Middle College), coordinates parent engagement initiatives and manages school communications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deputy Principal Support

  • Provide high‑quality administrative and organisational support to the Deputy Principals – Junior and Middle.
  • Manage calendars, appointments, meeting preparation, and follow‑up actions.
  • Assist with documentation, correspondence, and communication on behalf of the Deputy Principals.
  • Support projects, initiatives, and operational tasks as required.

2. Communications & Social Media

  • Develop, schedule, and publish social media content that reflects the College’s values, events, and achievements.
  • Coordinate the distribution of the College’s curriculum map and other parent‑facing communications.
  • Draft and format newsletters, announcements, and updates for families.
  • Maintain consistent branding, tone, and messaging across all communication channels.

3. Parent & Community Engagement

  • Act as a key liaison between the College and its parent community.
  • Coordinate parent engagement initiatives, events, and opportunities for involvement.
  • Provide clear, timely communication to families regarding engagement activities.
  • Manage the process for parents wishing to volunteer in classrooms or engagement activities.

5. Administration & Coordination

  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Assist with data entry, record keeping, and document management.
  • Support whole‑school events, celebrations, and community activities.
  • Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and the College’s Christian ethos in all interactions.
