Overview
Welcome to NEON – where team spirit and enthusiasm are at the heart of our firm's culture
You are a talented organiser who enjoys creating structure, keeping track of things and supporting a team with your positivity, reliability and hands-on mentality? Then we are looking for you – as the energetic backbone of our People & Culture team at NEON!
NEON is a modern, internationally active law firm with almost 100 employees in the heart of Berlin. We advise our clients on commercial law – with a particular focus on complex transactions and litigation. Our claim: legal excellence, technological innovation and human connection. Our team is dynamic, powerful and smart. We love what we do, live shared entrepreneurship and have fun – at work and beyond. With passion, competence and genuine team spirit, we successfully compete with the most renowned law firms in Germany.
Our People & Culture team is passionate about ensuring that NEON not only excels legally, but also on a human level. To continue creating an inspiring environment where everyone feels positively energized and can thrive, we need you as a dedicated team assistant (f/m/d) on a full-time or part-time basis with at least 25 hours per week.
Your mission
You will support our three HR Business Partners in all aspects of office organisation and project work that arise in the day-to-day running of the firm – bringing your own structure and energy to the role. Your tasks will include:
  • You take on administrative tasks such as maintaining personnel files, document management, creating templates (e.g. references and contract amendments) and payroll preparations.
  • You are actively involved in our recruiting and onboarding processes: from publishing job advertisements and maintaining our employer profiles on recruiting platforms to applicant management and the evolution of our onboarding materials.
  • You assist in organising workshops, team events and projects to foster our law firm culture – contributing your own ideas.
  • You take on research tasks, smaller projects and anything else that the team is currently working on.
  • You coordinate enquiries from service providers, review offers and act as a communication bridge between service providers and our team.
  • At the interface with the marketing team, you will support employer branding projects and assist in the preparation of external events.
What we offer
You will work in our dynamic and highly committed People & Culture team in a supportive working environment. We also offer the following:
  • Appreciative and lively corporate culture (team lunches, after work events, running events, activity area with table tennis, table football, Switch and much more)
  • Unique compensation system with profit sharing – all employees participate in the firm's success
  • NEON.Rente: a company pension scheme with 100% employer contribution
  • NEON.HealthInsurance: a company supplementary health insurance for optimal prevention and private medical treatment in case of illness
  • Pluxee vouchers for break-time refreshments, BVG ticket reimbursement and employee discounts from Corporate Benefits
  • NEON.Family for family and work compatibility as needed: childcare cost support, special leave for sick children, family rooms and much more
  • 30 days of annual leave
  • Subsidised further training and support in developing new areas of responsibility
  • Central location on Ku'Damm with good public transport connections
  • Climate-conscious working environment in a law firm that also supports social projects
  • The world's best teammates, because chemistry is just as important to us as qualifications when hiring

  • Discretion, reliability and a sense of responsibility when dealing with sensitive data
  • Enthusiasm for a dynamic environment in which processes can be actively shaped
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Hands-on mentality and a pragmatic approach to everyday work life
