Description

Responsible for supporting the execution of enterprise-wide talent, career, and leadership development strategies. Serves as a versatile resource, collaborating closely with the Manager, Performance, Career & Talent Planning, the Leader, Pearl Street Academy, and regional Talent Generalists to deliver programs and initiatives that elevate associate growth, capability building, and succession planning. Demonstrates strong initiative, adaptability, and a consultative approach in every interaction. Responsibilities
  • Partner with internal leaders, Regional Talent Generalists, and stakeholders to implement and sustain talent development, career progression, and succession planning initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Support the deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement of enterprise leadership development programs and learning experiences, including Pearl Street Academy offerings.
  • Facilitate foundational leadership development workshops; deliver training and certification programs as needed in collaboration with Pearl Street Academy.
  • Coordinate with field HR teams and regional Talent Generalists to enable critical talent and development programs, including new store openings, annual training plans, and Pearl Street Academy program logistics.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Talent Management & Development team and Regional Talent Generalists to identify emerging leadership development needs and coordinate appropriate solutions.
  • Coach business leaders and managers on best practices for talent development, performance management, and career planning, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
  • Utilize talent data and insights to advise leaders on development opportunities and succession readiness, supporting data-driven decision-making through assessments, 360s, and other tools.
  • Champion inclusive practices in talent development, ensuring programs are accessible and impactful for associates of all backgrounds.
  • Adapt quickly to changing business needs, demonstrating agility and resourcefulness in delivering talent solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members across the Talent Management & Development function to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
  • Travel up to 30% to field locations and business sites needed to engage with teams, understand operations, and strengthen business partnerships.

Qualifications

Minimum

  • 3+ years of experience in talent development, organizational development, HR business partnering, or a related field
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating training and development programs
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to interpret talent data and provide actionable insights
  • Passion for elevating leadership and driving business results through people

 

Desired

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Certification in facilitation, coaching, or leadership development (e.g., DDI, Korn Ferry, ATD)
  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide talent initiatives in a large, complex organization
  • Proven ability to influence and coach leaders at multiple levels
  • Experience working with HR technologies and learning management systems
  • Passion for fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace
