Description

The Talent Engagement Partner supports critical initiatives, essential to Baptist Health Care's team member engagement strategy. The Talent Engagement Partner influences and executes team member reward, recognition and engagement activities under the direction of and in partnership with the Manager of Talent Engagement & Wellbeing, all levels of leadership, and other internal stakeholders in support of a highly engaged workforce.  This position participates in the design and development of team member wellbeing and work-life programming strategies and initiatives that address team member needs, enhance engagement, support recruitment and retention goals, support productivity improvements, and other Baptist Health Care business strategies. This role will work closely with the Manager of Talent Engagement & Wellbeing, as well as the human resources and marketing teams to create and deliver communications for wellbeing, work-life programming and team member engagement survey activities. 



Responsibilities

What you will do

  • Supports the Reward and Recognition programming for Baptist Health Care. Facilitates, plans and communicates various events with vendors, team members and leaders.
  • Supports assigned initiatives administratively, serves as a liaison including, but not limited to; team member documentation, database updates, intranet organization and updates, as well as other required data tracking. Works in tandem with other human resources colleagues to ensure timely customer service and follow-up.
  • Provides support for projects or implementation of wellbeing or engagement programming under the direction of the Manager of Talent Engagement & Wellbeing.
  • Works closely with Manager of Talent Engagement & Wellbeing to prepare and deliver team member engagement surveys and follow-up action plans, with the goal of gathering transparent team member feedback about their work environment to elevate the work experience.
  • Completes audits and data validation reporting as assigned for team member engagement, action planning, wellbeing and other sources of team member data in support of Baptist Health Care's strategy of "focus on team." Creates associated reporting or presentations for delivery to Baptist Health Care leadership or other stakeholders.
  • Participates as a member of a network of wellbeing/engagement champions across the Baptist Health Care organization to build and promote a positive work-life environment and awareness of effective health and mental health resources.
  • Serves as a resource for team members and leaders regarding team member engagement and wellbeing activities, as well as interpretation of associated policies and processes.
  • Serves as initial point of contact in the human resources department for legal related documents to include, but not limited to subpoenas and requests for production as needed. Works closely with internal legal team and HR leadership in review of released documents, as necessary.
  • Collaborates with the human resources team and other Baptist Health Care departments to ensure that team member needs are being met and that human resources goals and strategies are achieved.

     

 



Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • 1-3 Years working in a human resources-related function required. Health care or wellness industry knowledge is highly desirable.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources Management, or other related field, required. Five years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
