Description

We are hiring a Talent Development Specialist who will develops, facilitate, and maintain CU SoCal’s team member training programs using a variety of effective training methods.


Business Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.*

*Based upon business needs, our positions may require working flexible hours, including some Saturdays. 


This position is based in Anaheim Hills CA with the opportunity to work on a hybrid-remote schedule which consists of 2 days in-office and 3 days working remote from home.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification from Association for Talent Development or related professional association.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Talent Development Coordinator or similar role.
  • 1+ years of experience developing curriculum for other trainers.
  • Demonstrated track record of applying a variety of training methods and modalities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or related field.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in all applicable MS Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Demonstrated track record of training experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing training curriculum.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Professional presentation, organization, and teaching skills. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Facilitates and trains new and existing team members to enhance their service and operational skills, phone etiquette, sales techniques, new and existing account transactions, rules and regulations, and policies and procedures, utilizing a variety of effective training methods and modalities.
  • Develops and maintains course content, audio/visual aids, test criteria, handouts, learning aids, training manuals, reference library, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials, in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Adheres to established instructional package templates for all learning modalities.
  • Adheres to established training and instructional design procedures.
  • Adheres to established testing, evaluation, and measurement procedures and tools for development and training programs. Provides feedback on the effectiveness and creativity of training programs, materials, methods, and content.
  • Complete understanding and active application the C.A.R.E. 4 Guide expectations and the Brand Communications Standards Accountability Philosophy.
  • Must be able and available to work a “hybrid” schedule, per business operations requirement, as needed.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Pay Scale:  Min. $27.12 / Mid. $34.31 / Max. $40.37 an hour

*Actual compensation will be based on geographical location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
