About the Job

The Talent Development Specialist will join the Global HR Team in this newly created position, reporting into the Global Talent Manager. The incumbent will provide a structured, cohesive and data driven approach to talent development. They will strive to offer opportunities and inspiration for people to grow and reach their potential at the IB, whilst empowering them with the skills they need now, and the abilities needed in the future, to help advance and grow the IB’s mission.

The Talent Development Specialist will work closely with the Global Talent Manager, another Talent Development Specialist, Talent Acquisition Manager and two Talent Acquisition Specialists to coordinate and deliver a holistic program to help IB achieve its ambition of becoming an organization that ‘optimizes its way of working to empower talented colleagues to do great work’.

The Talent Development Specialist will work with Global and Regional colleagues across the organisation and externally to provide a full Talent Development offer including understanding our e-learning opportunities and developing a strategy to more effectively deliver them, identifying training needs, developing innovative design solutions, and support effective delivery and evaluation.



Responsibilities
  • Talent Development Initiatives: Design, Plan and Execute: Support the review of Talent Development needs for all employees to identify knowledge, skills and behaviours required at an organisational, departmental and individual level. Partner with agreed vendors to create and design training solutions whilst considering the volume of participants, location and budget. Adapt content and material to enhance delegate engagement whilst considering different learning needs.

  • Processes and Systems: provide administrative support through course administration, delegate communication and management (including front line enquiries). Managing the development and implementation of e-learnings on our internal HRIS, HCM (Oracle), using Articulate/Rise 360 or similar tools. Create and agree global measurement evaluation tools to ensure all training objectives are met and monitor the impact of Talent Development programs. Monitor and improve key Talent Development online products including LinkedIn Learning and Line Manager Toolkit.

  • Communications & Reporting: partner with the communications team to design and implement effective communication strategies to increase awareness, engagement, and adoption of relevant Talent Development programs. In partnership with regional HR Teams, develop and maintain reporting tools, providing reports to the HR Leadership Team and Regional HR Teams on a regular basis.



Qualifications

About You

  • Demonstrable experience in a Talent Development or Learning Development focused role at a similar level or broader HR role. 
  • Working understanding of how Talent Development Teams support and develop people within Organisations.

  • Possesses a working knowledge of Learning Cycle/ADDIE activities and Learning Management Systems (ideally HCM Learn, but this is not essential).

  • Resilient approach to work with excellent planning and organisational skills, particularly when mapping out future activities.

  • Comfortable communicating to groups and individuals, especially as a leader/influencer in a discussion setting. 

  • Supportive and dependable in approach to others, with a collaborative working style.

    • Annual Salary in the region of USD 72,526 - 90,389 (negotiable dependent on experience). Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to local labor market conditions, educational background, work experience, and relevant certifications.
