Overview:
As a Talent Development Specialist, you will assist with developing, implementing, and supporting training programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and professional development of employees within the organization, along with other employee engagement initiatives.
The right candidate has an interest in developing training, increasing employee engagement with training opportunities, working adeptly within Cornerstone LMS, and enterprise talent development initiatives, such as competencies, learning paths, and learning evaluations to measure impact.
You will collaborate closely with HR leadership, department heads, and subject matter experts to identify training needs, design, deploy and evaluate effective learning solutions. Your expertise in learning and development, combined with your strong interpersonal and communication skills, will contribute to fostering a culture of continuous learning and employee growth.
All applicants must be able to obtain/maintain an active U.S. Security Clearance.
This is not a remote-only position and requires 2-3 days per week on-site in Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities Include:
- Supports the design and development of curricula and learning initiatives to meet and exceed employee skill needs.
- Assists with developing training strategies to meet and exceed needs.
- Assesses learning impacts and develops appropriate metrics that can be tracked over time and reported out to leadership.
- Applies knowledge on talent development platforms, such as Articulate 360, to bear when developing, authoring and deploying training that engage learners through multiple mediums.
- Maintains knowledge of the latest advances in training and development and applies these improvements to engaging learning opportunities.
- Facilitates live new hire orientation and executes improvements proactively with fellow teammates.
- Develops communications to increase interest in training opportunities, such as via office-wide information campaigns.
- Supports recommendations for targeted training opportunities for high potentials within the organization. Develops programs as appropriate for these populations.
- Performs other related duties as required.
