The Talent Development Specialist plays a key role in designing and delivering programs that enhance employee capability, foster a positive and inclusive culture, and strengthen company-wide communication and engagement. This role partners across departments to implement learning solutions that align with organizational goals, reinforce company values, and support career development.

Key Responsibilities:

Learning & Development

  • Design, deliver, and evaluate learning programs to support employee onboarding, leadership development, technical training, and professional growth.
  • Support the administrative components of the company’s learning platforms, ensuring accessibility, engagement, and content relevance.
  • Curate learning resources (courses, toolkits, workshops) that support employee success.
  • Manage logistics for learning events (scheduling, invitations, materials, evaluations).
  • Stay current on L&D best practices, technology trends, and adult learning principles.

Culture & Engagement

  • Support internal culture campaigns (e.g., recognition programs, values spotlights, engagement initiatives).
  • Facilitate culture workshops or focus groups to gather feedback and co-create engagement strategies.
  • Serve as a culture ambassador—helping to integrate company values into everyday employee experiences.

Internal Communication

  • Develop clear, engaging, and consistent messaging that reinforces culture and organizational priorities.
  • Support communication for learning initiatives, employee events, and people programs (e.g., newsletters, intranet posts, video messages).
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and tone consistency in people-related communications.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or related HR discipline.
  • Experience supporting culture, engagement, or communication initiatives preferred.
  • Experience managing or administering a Learning Management System (LMS) is a plus.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft engaging content.
  • Ability to translate business needs into effective learning or culture solutions.
  • Strong project management, organization, and follow-through.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Canva (or similar design tools), and collaboration platforms (Teams, Slack, SharePoint).
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and evaluation methods.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to build trust and influence across the organization.
