Job Description

The Talent Development Intern has responsibility for assisting the Talent Development department with Talent Development functions of Lilly Pulitzer. As the Talent Development Intern, you will gain hands on experience in HR functions while working with cross collaborative teams.

A day in the life…

  • Assist with maintaining integrity of personnel files.
  • Assist with providing and arranging new hire onboarding.
  • Assist with recruitment scheduling, screening resumes, interview coordination, and candidate communications.
  • Assist with maintaining Human Resource Information System (Workday) and Payroll System (ADP Workforce Now).
  • Assist monitoring, training, and enforcing company personnel policies.
  • Assist with processing annual performance appraisals.

Qualifications for the Position

  • Must be pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or related function.
  • This internship will be for Spring 2026; with a start date in January through mid- May.
  • This position requires an upbeat, energetic, enthusiastic individual.
  • The Talent Development Intern must be interactive, approachable, credible, and discrete.
  • This position requires an understanding of legal compliance issues for employment practices.
  • The Talent Development Intern needs the ability to interact effectively with the principals and other senior colleagues regarding strategic staffing recommendations and other Talent Development issues.
  • The Talent Development Intern must be curious about HR policies and procedures and submit suggestions for improving and streamlining processes. 
  • This position is a hands-on role ideal for a student who is detail oriented, organized, and eager to learn Human Resource practices.

A Little More to Know…

  • This position is classified as a temporary full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. This position is eligible for overtime. It is not eligible for standard company benefits.
  • This position is required to maintain a structured hybrid work schedule based out of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. This hybrid schedule, which includes work done in the King of Prussia Office as well as your Home Office will be determined by your supervisor.
  • This position is expected to collaborate effectively with other individuals in alignment with our Core Values and Core Leadership Qualities.
