Department Overview

The Human Resources Department of the Travel & Mobility Business is taking on a variety of challenges in cooperation with management to achieve Rakuten Travel's goal of becoming the No. 1 OTA (Online Travel Agent) in Asia.

Why We Hire

The Human Resources & General Affairs Office handles all human resources-related tasks such as recruitment, talent management, training, payroll, and labor relations as the business HR. We also conduct Employee Engagement Surveys (employee satisfaction surveys) on an ongoing basis, and through the results of these surveys, we are actively engaged in improvement activities, such as discovering organizational issues and planning solutions.

We are planning to increase the number of employees to strengthen our organization for further business expansion.

Position Details

As a member of the Travel & Mobility HR team, you will be responsible for supporting the achievement of business goals from an HR perspective.

- The role will be responsible for the planning and execution of HR plans to solve urgent and critical issues for both management and business sites in collaboration with the business units.
- Deliver HR policies to each business in accordance with the direction of the Human Resources Division, and collaborate with divisional HR and general affairs staff.
- Collect and analyze HR data in the Travel & Mobility business.
- Organize issues and consider measures to address them.
- Develop and manage KGI and KPI in the HR strategy, and take action on them.
- Implement HR policies at overseas offices and perform general affairs duties.

Work Environment

There are 18 people in the Human Resources and General Affairs Office (including managers), and the ratio of men to women is about 50/50.

- Excel (level of ability to use basic functions).

- Ability to communicate with related departments, colleagues and employees with hospitality.
- The ability to find issues on your own, organize information, make proposals, and realize them.
