DISCOVER

At Watkins Wellness, we believe in helping people feel good and live well. Our teams create exceptional products and experiences that improve lives, and we know that our people are at the heart of everything we do.

As our Talent Development Business Partner, you will support, strengthen, and elevate the growth of our workforce. You’ll collaborate closely with leaders across the organization to shape modern development practices, steward our talent systems, and support the evolution of our leadership programs.

This role blends hands-on program coordination with strategic partnership. You’ll manage day-to-day talent development operations while also contributing to higher-level initiatives that advance our talent ecosystem. From building development pathways and onboarding experiences, to supporting enterprise programs and ensuring our learning platforms operate smoothly, you’ll help us grow stronger leaders, more capable teams, and a more engaged workforce.

This is a hybrid role based in Vista, CA, offering defined flexibility while maintaining strong onsite presence for key programs, connections, and facilitation needs.

YOUR RIPPLE EFFECT

  • Are you energized by developing people and strengthening organizations? Partner with leaders to implement development strategies that identify top talent, strengthen leadership capabilities, and support internal mobility.
  • Do you enjoy balancing creativity with operational excellence? Blend strategic input with detail-oriented execution across leadership programs, onboarding, learning systems, and development communications.
  • Do you thrive as the “go-to” person who keeps talent systems running smoothly? Serve as the primary administrator and gatekeeper for Workday talent modules, learning platforms, and the new talent review tool launching in alignment with Workday.
  • Are you passionate about building experiences that help employees grow? Lead New Hire Orientation on a rotation with the team, manage internship program components, and support leadership program design that reflects what is uniquely Watkins.
  • Do you spot blind spots and anticipate needs before they become gaps? Bring a forward-looking lens to talent trends, workforce data, and development priorities while helping leaders adopt best practices.
  • Do you enjoy creating clarity and connection across the organization? Develop content for leadership newsletters and SharePoint sites, ensuring information is accurate, global when needed, and accessible.
  • Are you a natural collaborator? Partner closely with People and Culture colleagues, including HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition, to support performance management, succession planning, and organizational development efforts.
  • Do you value continuous improvement? Prepare for annual performance and talent review cycles, support roundtables and HR facilitator guidance, and help modernize how we deliver learning and development.
