JOB SUMMARY
Design and implement strategies for employee growth, performance, and retention, using data analytics to identify needs, build leadership pipelines, create training programs, develop dashboards, and align talent initiatives with business goals to increase organizational effectiveness and enhance succession planning.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop a comprehensive talent development strategy aligned with the Credit Union’s organizational goals and metrics.
Develop and direct the workforce analytics program. This includes developing strategies for data collection, analyzing and interpreting data, and making recommendations to management to improve organizational performance.
Design, implement, and manage learning programs, leadership training, and career paths.
Develop and execute talent development and workforce analytics goals and budgets.
Serve as lead representative and liaison between talent management and information services, new technology, and other stakeholders to streamline information to support the Credit Union’s strategic goals.
Possess the skills to test plausible hypotheses to establish the root cause of workforce issues. Analyze the effectiveness of training programs by determining the level of knowledge retention and mastery of job competencies. Segment data and metrics to highlight the specific areas of concern or opportunity. Examine the correlation, and level of causation, between two or more metrics.
Oversee the compilation of complex data reports, summaries, and logs requested by executive leadership and management staff.
Create initiatives that foster a positive culture, improve retention, develop skills, and position the Credit Union as an employer of choice.
Track key metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement, skill proficiency, training effectiveness) and report results to the executive team.
Follow all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulations.
Represent the Credit Union in a professional manner (including but not limited to appearance, behavior, and performance).
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Work cooperatively with others.
All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience – Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or information technology related field is required. Ten or more years’ experience in training and development, workforce analytics, or human resources. Five to seven years management experience.
Qualifications and Requirements – Individual must possess the knowledge skills and ability required to execute the essential functions in a satisfactory manner.
Professional Certification – A professional certification in human resources, training and development, people analytics, or information technology is preferred.
Language - Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, and policies and procedures. Ability to write correspondence and use proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Ability to speak effectively before groups.
Mathematical – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning – Ability to use sound reasoning in order to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Possess analytical and problem-solving skills to assist members using independent judgment.
Computer – Ability to operate related computer applications including Word, Excel, and email. Proficient typing skills. Knowledge and experience administering HRIS applications.
