Note on Eligibility: To best serve our mission and the privacy of our clients, we are currently exclusively seeking female-identifying volunteers for this role. You can read more about our BFOQ (Bona Fide Occupational Qualification) policy below.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises a team of Talent Acquisition Coordinators from training, job postings, and candidate questions.

  • Streamline candidate screening and interview scheduling.

  • Tracks status of candidates and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.

  • Post all new openings on all platforms and remove any filled positions.

  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the Talent Acquisition Manager.

  • Maintains allocated job boards including LinkedIn, Smart Recruiter, Volunteermatch, and Handshake. 

  • Act as a resource to candidates by responding to questions throughout the hiring process.

  • Research new potential job boards and recruiting tactics to expand reach.

  • Prepares correspondence as requested. 

  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

  • Attend monthly full staff, and department meetings (if applicable).

Qualifications

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Must be available to volunteer 8-10+ hours a week.

  • Familiarity with recruiting platforms and job boards is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage global candidates. 

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Past supervisory experience is preferred.

  • Working understanding human resource principles, practices and procedures. 

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. 

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience preferred.
