Your role on the team:
- Supports and implements procedures and metrics for corporate recruiting staff that align with talent and operations objectives, goals, and policies
- Recruits actively for certain executive level positions across the network including but not limited to sourcing and screening qualified applicants, scheduling and conducting interviews, administering tests, performing background checks, and evaluating applicant qualifications
- Confers with hiring managers, leadership, talent advisors, and HR/Talent leadership to prepare and implement recruiting strategies
- Oversees the corporate talent acquisition teams’ day-to-day recruitment activities including candidate submission, hiring manager partnership, intake calls, community partnerships, agencies relationships, and other tactical activities in support of hiring
- Coaches corporate talent acquisition team on best practices related to process, creative recruiting strategies, business partnership, and other areas of the talent acquisition methodology
- Maintains and educates on the competency-based GEODIS Interview Guides
- Issues offer letters and applicable agreements and ensures offer letters extended by corporate talent acquisition team meet company guidelines
- Evaluates recruitment philosophies and processes and makes recommendations for changes to Talent leadership; partners with leadership and talent acquisition team to implement changes
- Other duties as required and assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Recruiting certifications preferred
- Experience with talent acquisition for both exempt and non-exempt positions
- Experience utilizing and managing an Applicant Tracking System
- Exemplary knowledge of behavioral interviewing
- PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to enforce and advocate GEODIS interview guides
- Excellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a proven ability to develop relationships with a range of internal and external customers
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
