In cooperation with the North America HR Team, this talent acquisition recruiter will lead projects across all areas of our business when it comes to distribution, manufacturing, and technical recruiting. A majority of the recruitment projects will involve hourly employee souring in regions where we have manufacturing and distribution operations. These target markets this position will recruit for will include but not be limited to Alabama, Georgia, Minnesota, Maine, Massachusetts, South Carolina, Wisconsin, as well as Eastern Canada.

This short list of Key responsibilities that this position will encounter are:

  • Champion recruiting projects from end to end within the designated business units across all Valmet North America.

  • Enhance recruiting performance KPI's when it comes to "time to fill" positions as well as "candidate experience".

  • Help shape and drive our recruiting process to all levels of the organization for consistency.

  • Use tools and screening/interviewing techniques to bring in the best outside talent to our locations.

Well qualified candidate should possess the following:

  • 5+ years progressive experience when it comes to hourly recruiting and its full life cycle including appropriate labor laws. Preference will be background in manufacturing, distribution, and technical or skilled trades support at a large (1k+) or global company.

  • Higher education degree from University, College, Trade School.

  • Be located near a Valmet site for the option to hybrid work and become involved with our business/locations. Preferred locations are Atlanta, GA - Houston, TX - Appleton, Green Bay, or Milwaukee WI. Option for fully remote person will depend on technical recruiting experience.

  • Extensive knowledge with ATS tools as well as market trends and external jobs boards.
