Position Overview:
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist I, you’ll support hiring across the company by managing full-cycle recruitment for hourly and entry-level roles. You’ll screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and help keep the hiring process moving smoothly — all while building a strong foundation in talent acquisition within a supportive HR team.
You’ll also assist with coordinating staffing firm relationships — helping manage candidate submittals, sharing updates, and ensuring communication stays clear and consistent. It’s a great way to learn vendor partnership skills while supporting a steady flow of candidates.

Responsibilities:
Recruitment Strategies and Sourcing:
· Collaborate closely with the talent acquisition team, HR, and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, ideal candidate profiles, and overall recruitment strategy.
· Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly positions, entry-level salary positions, and occasional professional roles, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
· Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates using job boards, social media, employee referrals, and other platforms.
· Manage relationships with staffing vendors.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with potential candidates to create a talent pipeline for future openings.
Job Posting and Advertising:
· Assist with writing compelling job descriptions and post on various job boards, career sites, and social media platforms.
· Ensure job postings are accurate and reflective of the company’s needs and values.
Candidate Screening and Evaluation:
· Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
· Conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, work experience, and cultural fit.
· Coordinate and schedule on-site interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
· Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and job requirements.
· Provide guidance on hiring best practices, interview techniques, and candidate selection.
· Maintain open communication with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process to ensure alignment.
Data Management and Reporting:
· Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in Paylocity.
· Ensure all recruitment processes are in compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
Community and Networking:
· Attend job fairs, networking events, and career days to promote the company and attract candidates.
· Build relationships with local schools, community organizations, and staffing agencies to support recruitment efforts.
Team Support:
· Support the other talent acquisition team members in sourcing and screening candidates for professional and more specialized positions as needed.
· Backs up the other talent acquisition team members when they are out of the office.

Education/Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required
· 0–2 years of recruiting or HR experience (internships included)
Other Requirements:
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Basic knowledge of social media platforms for posting and branding
· Driver’s license required for infrequent local and domestic travel to visit other company locations that are being staffed or to attend career fair events
