As Global-e continues to grow, we are looking to bring-on an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for helping with the end-to-end recruitment process across our locations in APAC Japan & Korea.
We’re looking for someone with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, who can work independently and perform under pressure in a fast-paced, global environment.
In this role, you’ll play a key role in supporting Global-e’s talent acquisition efforts during a period of continued global expansion.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with hybrid working arrangements. The role will require you to be in the Tokyo office 3 days a week. Our standard working hours are 9am-6pm.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Recruitment Ownership: Fully own the recruitment process from intake to offer, including candidate screening, interview management, and offer coordination, while managing multiple roles across the region with efficiency and quality.
- Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Management: Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through strategic inbound and outbound sourcing, using creative, multi-channel approaches to attract top candidates.
- Hiring Manager Partnership: Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand business needs, provide market insights, and deliver tailored hiring solutions.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive, consistent, and professional experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Use data-driven insights to advise hiring teams on recruitment strategies, optimize the hiring process, and ensure we attract the right talent efficiently.

Experience: 4+ years of recruitment experience in Japan; experience in other APAC regions is a significant advantage.

Sourcing Skills: Proven ability to drive recruitment strategies that find, attract, and close passive candidates.

Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other strategic sourcing tools.

Screening: Hands-on experience in conducting candidate phone screenings as part of the recruitment process.
- Data-driven approach, with experience analyzing recruitment metrics and adapting strategies to drive better outcomes.

Soft Skills: Extremely organized with high attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pace environment.

Industry Background: Experience in dynamic, growth-oriented organizations is preferred

Language Proficiency: Near native Japanese (JLPT N1) + Business-level English
