Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Talent Acquisition Professional serves as a strategic partner to hiring managers and leadership, executing full-cycle recruiting while integrating workforce planning to ensure all hiring aligns with approved headcount plans, labor budgets, and organizational strategy. This role is responsible for sourcing and securing top talent, rigorously validating Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) and Headcount (HC) requirements, and driving compliance with financial and staffing strategies. By combining high-impact talent acquisition with proactive workforce planning and cost management, this position directly supports business growth while optimizing labor expenses.
Primary Tasks:
- Lead proactive sourcing and candidate engagement initiatives to build robust, high-quality talent pipelines.
- Conduct thorough intake meetings with hiring managers to deeply understand business needs, role requirements, and workforce planning implications.
- Validate job requisitions, offers, and hiring decisions against approved FTE, Headcount (HC), and labor budgets prior to advancing.
- Develop and implement targeted recruiting strategies that are fully aligned with broader business objectives and workforce plans.
- Review applications, perform detailed pre-screening, coordinate and facilitate interviews, and manage candidate experience.
- Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, Leadership and Workforce Management teams to maintain alignment between hiring activity and approved labor budgets.
- Maintain precise tracking and reporting of headcount, vacancies, open positions, and workforce allocation.
- Deliver insightful workforce planning and recruiting metrics/reports to leadership.
- Analyze recruiting effectiveness, workforce trends, and market data to continuously refine strategies and processes.
- Ensure full compliance with all hiring policies, employment laws, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and HR Business Partners.
- Support and participate in job fairs, campus recruiting, hiring events, and other talent attraction initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Management or related field OR 4+ years of equivalent professional experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Excel, database management, and record-keeping.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with workforce planning, FTE/HC tracking, or position control.
- Proven Boolean sourcing skills and ability to identify and engage hard-to-find talent.
- Direct sales or consultative selling experience.
- Excellent professional presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated competencies in strategic thinking, sourcing/screening, candidate assessment, client management, closing, business acumen, and adaptability.
- Minimum of two (2) years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding key performance metrics.
