Talent Acquisition Partner at Shiel Sexton
The Talent Acquisition Partner reports directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager and plays a critical role in building and sustaining a strong talent pipeline for Shiel Sexton. This role is responsible for driving fullâcycle recruiting, with a heavy emphasis on proactive sourcing, social media engagement, and network development to attract highâquality candidates
The Talent Acquisition Partner also supports onboarding processes, talent branding and exposure, and employee engagement initiatives that strengthen our employer brand and enhance the overall employee experience.
Role Responsibilities and Competencies:
Talent Acquisition and Sourcing
- Lead fullâcycle recruitment for assigned roles, ensuring a strong slate of qualified candidates.
- Develop and execute aggressive sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, targeted Boolean searches, talent communities, niche job boards, and alumni networks.
- Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for high-impact and hard-to-fill roles.
- Drive Shiel Sexton’s social recruiting strategy, including content creation, job advertising, and campaigns across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and industry-specific platforms.
- Grow and nurture a wide network of talent through consistent outreach, relationship building, community involvement, and participation in industry groups.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, role requirements, and success profiles.
- Track, measure, and report on sourcing channels, recruiting metrics, and hiring trends.
Talent Branding and Community Engagement
- Represent Shiel Sexton at career fairs, university events, and communityâbased recruiting initiatives.
- Collaborate with Marketing and HR to strengthen employer brand presence across digital and social channels.
- Maintain partnerships with staffing agencies, universities, and community organizations to support diverse talent pipelines.
Onboarding & Talent Programs
- Support the continued evolution of Shiel Sexton’s onboarding experience and New Employee Orientation by assisting the HR Manager in the drug testing/background check submittal and review process.
- Assist and support the enhancement and process around the Internship Program when needed.
Employee Engagement & Culture Support
- Support HR team by involvement in company-wide engagement initiatives outside scope of Talent Acquisition.
General HR Expectations
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented focus for managing multiple projects, tracking and maintaining accurate file structure related to administrative tasks.
- Maintain inventory of job descriptions, skills requirements, certifications, and career progression details.
- Contribute to wider HR initiatives that strengthen culture, inclusion, and employee experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in TA roles with a strong emphasis on sourcing and candidate engagement.
- BA/BS in Business, Human Resources, Business Management, Communications, Psychology, or related field preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in modern sourcing techniques and social recruiting strategies.
- Exceptional communication, relationshipâbuilding, and influencing skills.
- Physical presence in the office during work hours for impromptu meetings and access to information/data is necessary for the position.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Open to periodic travel for career fairs, site visits, information sessions, and networking events.
