You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative recruitment strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent pipelines - ensuring we have the right people in the right roles at the right time.
We’re looking for someone who can step in confidently, bringing their talent acquisition expertise to help us attract and secure great candidates for our organisation
Your ability to communicate and engage with managers and candidates will stand you out from the rest, and your drive to do things differently, understanding the need to work at pace will stand you in good stead too.
What you’ll be doing:
Collaborating with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions across both niche and high-volume roles.
Leading creative attraction campaigns to reduce vacancies and reliance on agency staff.
Proactively building and nurturing talent pipelines aligned with future workforce needs and strategic planning.
Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance the hiring process and candidate experience—helping position Lancashire County Council as an employer of choice.

Our Ideal Applicant:
Experienced in talent acquisition within a large or complex organisation.
Innovative solutions focused- you think differently and bring fresh ideas to solve recruitment challenges.
Skilled in data-informed decision making, with a strong understanding of recruitment metrics and workforce planning.
Great communication and stakeholder management skills. You'll influence decisions and offer guidance to managers at all levels of the organisation.
