Applied Materials is looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join a global talent acquisition leadership team and lead Israel’s in-country, end-to-end talent acquisition team.

What’s in it for you?

Responsible for developing and driving end-to-end recruiting strategies, activities, and innovations in a quickly growing industry and market. Translates business unit plans and priorities to talent action plans. Manages a professional team of sourcing and recruiting specialists to deliver on these plans.

Serves as the global single point-of-contact (SPOC) for all TA activities supporting the Process Diagnostics and Control (PDC) business, which is based in Israel.

Reports to Global Talent Acquisition, and is a partner on the Israel HR leadership team.

The Israel Talent Acquisition team is a professional and energetic team who partners with the business on a variety of positions across disciplines such as software, algorithms, physics, and hardware.

What you'll be doing:

In alignment with the Global Talent Acquisition team’s strategies, operations, tools, programs and practices:

  • Serve on Global TA Leadership Team; innovate and collaborate with Global TA team on cross-organizational strategies and programs; lead or participate on global TA project teams

  • Inspire, lead, coach, and develop the Israel TA team to meet the dynamic demands of a growing technology company in an expanding and globally relevant industry

  • Create best-in-class BU/country TA strategies and work with team to implement those strategies in support of the business; continuously partner across TA to improve processes, tools, and channels

  • Develop strong and effective partnerships across the BU, TA, and HR leadership team and with hiring managers

  • Partner with country Marketing Communications team to deliver recruiting campaigns aligned with corporate Marketing Communications / global TA message, brand, and strategy

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with external agencies, academy institutes and other associations

  • Manage local TA budget and partner with key executives for business funding when appropriate

  • Ensure delivery of best-in-class candidate experience

  • Promote inclusion and diversity within the team and embed inclusion and diversity in recruiting programs and strategies

  • Analyze recruitment data and metrics for learning and themes to continually improve effectiveness

  • Actively recruit for key roles as needed

What you should have?

  • Excited by talent acquisition as a significant and strategic pillar for business success

  • 5+ years of experience managing and inspiring a high-performing recruiting team in a global, matrixed environment

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience within high-growth, innovative, technology organizations

  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies and the ability to influence and partner with business leaders across the organization

  • Wide knowledge of talent acquisition, local talent trends, and business markets

  • Familiarity with shared services operations & vendors

  • Ability to create local followership and collaborate globally

  • Passionate about candidate experience, ensuring that each candidate has a unique and positive experience

  • Self-starter who loves taking initiative and proactively providing suggestions for how to streamline and improve recruitment activities

  • Analytical mindset and process orientation, including the ability to find trends and actionable insights in talent metrics/data

  • Great written and verbal communication skills both in Hebrew and English
