Talent Acquisition Business Partner (m/w/d)

As Talent Acquisition Business Partner you will managing the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring the attraction, selection, and hiring of top talent to meet business needs across Germany. In this role you will serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and HR teams to develop effective recruitment strategies, enhance employer branding, and ensure a positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute recruitment plans aligned with business objectives and workforce planning needs, with a particular focus on the technical roles and service technicians’ apprenticeship recruitment.
  • Analyze market trends and talent availability to inform sourcing strategies for technical apprenticeship roles.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods (job boards, social media, networking, and referrals) to attract and build a pipeline of qualified service technician apprentices.
  • Apply advanced sourcing and Boolean search techniques to identify and engage passive candidates, especially for technical and apprenticeship positions.
  • Enhance the employer’s reputation by promoting company culture and values through targeted recruitment marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and implement employer branding strategies specifically aimed at attracting apprentices and early-career technical talent.
  • Leverage social media and digital channels to increase visibility among potential service technician apprentices.
  • Manage the end to end recruitment  process including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Ensure a smooth and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Partner with department leaders to understand the specific requirements for service technician apprentices and define ideal candidate profiles.
  • Provide guidance on selection criteria and interview processes tailored to apprenticeship recruitment.
  • Track key hiring metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness) to continuously improve recruitment processes for apprenticeship programs.
  • Support strategies to build a diverse talent pipeline and promote inclusive hiring practices within apprenticeship recruitment.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities align with labor laws, GDPR, and company policies, especially those relevant to apprenticeships.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong command of English (spoken and written).
  • Experience using ATS such as Oracle, SmartRecruiters, Greenhouse.
  • Expertise in active sourcing via LinkedIn, job boards, and professional networks.
  • Experience in handling salary negotiations and closing candidates.
  • Knowledge of competency-based interviews, behavioral assessments, and psychometric testing.
  • Understanding of employment regulations and hiring best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and HR management systems.
  • Familiarity with digital hiring strategies and employer branding initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze recruitment KPIs and improve hiring efficiency.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and labor law compliance in recruitment processes.

Desired Qualifications

  • Recruitment certifications (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, SHRM, PHR).
  • Previous experience recruiting for apprenticeship programs, especially for service technicians.
  • Advanced skills in leveraging social media for talent attraction and employer branding.
  • Experience supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives in recruitment.
  • Proficiency in other languages relevant to the business or target talent pool.
