DescriptionThe Talent Acquisition Advisor will be responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) to deliver an effective and inclusive recruitment process with a key focus on candidate experience and sourcing of candidates for Costain’s growing Defence and Nuclear Energy sector.
ResponsibilitiesTA Co-ordination responsibility:
Support the Talent Acquisition Partner and hiring managers to ensure that the talent acquisition process is delivered in a professional, timely and accurate way.
This includes but is not restricted to:
- Vacancy request processing
- Cv formatting
- Interview arranging and subsequent admin
- RTW checks
- Offers
- Identify other ways to promote the resourcing process and service offered through weekly/bi-weekly project update meetings.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process
Sourcing:
- Work in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Partner to identify current and future candidates for active vacancies. Use all advertising channels and platforms to increase visibility of Costain D&NE opportunities to the widest possible network.
- Build a strong Candidate pipeline for future opportunities
- Adopt a collaborative way of working with the Talent Acquisition team and share best practice, new ways of working and maximise candidate opportunities by understanding open and future requirements across the Sector
- Offer and Onboarding co-ordination:
Work in partnership with the on-boarding team and the hiring manager to co-ordinate the offer process to ensure candidates get accurate and attractive offers quickly. - Stay in regular contact with candidates and managers throughout the process to ensure an excellent candidate experience
Leverage technology:
- Ensure all relevant technology is fully utilised, and embrace new functionality
- Ensure all information is accurately reflected in Oracle so source information is accurately recorded and reported on.

Qualifications- Experience with Oracle is desirable, but not essential
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages (Word, excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong Resourcing experience is desirable
- Appetite for learning, personal growth, and development within the field of Talent Acquisition
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.
