The activities listed below reflect some of the core responsibilities of the role. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, ready to take initiative, and keen to get involved in a variety of tasks to support the wider team. You’ll need to bring flexibility, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Logging and tracking CVs from both direct applicants and agencies
  • Managing the release of vacancies to agencies through our recruitment portal
  • Scheduling and coordinating interviews and meetings with candidates and agencies
  • Supporting post-interview feedback processes and ensuring timely communication of outcomes
  • Advertising vacancies internally and externally, and supporting updates to job adverts as required
  • Managing the recruitment inbox and acting as the first point of contact for general enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate records within recruitment systems, including agency contact details
  • Issuing and overseeing Right to Work checks for successful candidates
  • Supporting wider administrative and coordination tasks as required to ensure smooth team operations

What We’re Looking For:

This role will suit someone who is enthusiastic, adaptable, and takes real pride in their work. We’re looking for someone who:

  • Uses initiative and approaches their work with energy, focus and a proactive mindset
  • Has excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Thrives in a team environment and enjoys supporting colleagues to deliver shared goals
  • Flexible, resourceful, and comfortable turning their hand to a wide range of tasks
  • Communicates clearly and confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior colleagues
  • Engaged, motivated, and keen to contribute to a team that is evolving and growing
  • Wants to make a real impact and sees the value in getting things right

Candidate Profile

  • Previous administrative experience in HR or recruitment, ideally within a legal or professional services environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach, with a willingness to take on responsibility

What happens next?

Once your application has been submitted and reviewed, our Recruitment team will share the outcome with you by email.

We typically hold two interview stages per vacancy providing the opportunity to meet two members of the hiring team at each stage. The first stage is typically conducted virtually and the second stage typically in person at the office in which the role would be based. However, we strive to remain flexible depending on the requirements of the role or the candidate.

Our strength lies in our differences.

We are a Disability Confident and top Stonewall employer, a Valuable 500 member, a signatory of the Race at Work Charter and a proud partner of Neurodiversity in Law. We encourage and value different ideas and styles of thinking. It’s with different perspectives that we’ll find solutions to our clients’ most complex challenges. It’s how we’ll deliver outstanding results today, and tomorrow. We want everybody attending an interview to be comfortable and able to fully demonstrate their experience and talents.
