Job Responsibilities:

  • Acts as change agent in the diagnosis of organizational problems, sets the agenda for the future and creates plans for making change happen.
  • Leverages organizational data to identify leadership development needs and contributes to solutions to improve the capability of leaders to lead and manage their employees to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Builds change leadership capabilities within the assigned segment/function(s).
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to guide segment/function decisions and is sought out for his/her perspective in people-related decisions.
  • Works closely with global HR team to improve employee work relationships, engagement, retention and performance through actionable plans
  • Develops workplace planning strategies and action plans based on segment/function needs
  • Creates talent strategy for segment/function, and executes in partnership with function leader
  • Leads workforce assessments and plans/executes reorganizations as needed
  • Administer company policies and procedures. Provide guidance and training to managers.
  • Support employee relations issues by completing investigations and ensuring conflict resolution.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable employment laws and agencies. Maintains current knowledge of new laws and legal trends affecting HR-related activities and functions.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent relevant work experience. HR certification desired.
  • 10+ years of professional HR business partnership is required; 5+ years team leadership experience
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and focus on what matters.
  • High degree of professionalism and ability to influence business processes and decisions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to thrive in an environment of changing priorities and ambiguity
  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment regulations preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move safely throughout all areas of the office and plant as needed, with or without accommodation
  • Work in office environment using computer for extended periods of time.
