Description

As a Sr HR Director here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of HR management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee development. You will develop and implement HR strategies that attract, develop, and retain top talent, ensuring the organization has the right people in the right roles to drive business success.

You will report directly to our Vice President of Human Resources, United States and Canada Region and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the overall success of the organization by collaborating with business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and provide HR solutions that support their goals. Additionally, you will drive the implementation of HR programs and initiatives that enhance employee engagement, promote a positive work culture, and foster a diverse and inclusive workforce.



Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage, coach, and develop a direct report staff of 10 HR professionals based up and down the East Coast of the US. 
  • The East Coast region, generally, is from Connecticut to Florida and includes 2 Honeywell business HQ’s in Charlotte and Atlanta, in addition to multiple manufacturing and engineering sites located across several states. 
  • Develop an operating system that delivers Honeywell priorities aligned to HR policies, processes and programs that support business and functional stakeholders. 
  • Act as the day-to-day HR site leader for Charlotte Global Headquarters (NC01). 
  • Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and support. Create standard work to enable productivity.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee development for assigned sites and clients

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in HR management or a related role.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing HR teams.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and employee development.
