Specialist - Employee Experience

This role is pivotal in delivering a smooth and efficient employee experience across the employee lifecycle. As a Specialist – Employee Experience within Global HR Delivery, you will support high‑quality HR operations by ensuring accurate HRIS processing, timely service outcomes, and consistent employee and manager support, while partnering with key stakeholders to maintain strong service standards and continuous improvement.



Responsibilities
  • Manage day‑to‑day administration and maintenance of employee records in the HRIS for new hires, existing employees, and exiting employees.
  • Execute Hire‑to‑Retire transactions such as onboarding, employee data changes, letters, and separation actions.
  • Provide employee and manager support through self‑service guidance and helpdesk responses.
  • Prepare, process, and maintain HR documents and letters using standard templates (offer letters, confirmations, verification letters, etc.).
  • Coordinate with payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing related to new hires, changes, and exits.
  • Support background verification and reference check processes as per defined guidelines.
  • Generate, review, and analyze HR reports (headcount, attrition, leave balances, compliance metrics).
  • Ensure compliance with internal HR policies, data privacy norms, and statutory requirements.
  • Identify and resolve data issues or case exceptions by partnering with HRIS, Payroll, Security, and other teams.
  • Maintain high levels of data accuracy, documentation hygiene, and “first‑time‑right” processing.
  • Contribute to process improvements, SOPs, and knowledge documentation.
  • Support additional HR operational processes as required.

Core Competencies & Skills 

  • Knowledge or proficiency in HRIS platforms (Oracle, Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors).
  • Analytical skills with the ability to validate information and prepare reports.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Strong communication with a customer‑centric approach.
  • Ability to work with high accuracy and attention to detail in a process‑driven environment.
  • Problem‑solving capability to handle system/data issues or more complex cases (higher levels). 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet service-level targets. 
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to recommend or drive process enhancements.

 



Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field.
  • Relevant HR operations / HR shared services experience (5-8 years).
  • Exposure to global HR processes is an added advantage.
