Position \: Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist (For Serving HA staff only) 
Rank: Clerk I

Pay: HK$39,485 to HK$50,373 (HGPS point 16 to 21) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Working in the Manpower Planning & Staffing Team, the incumbent will support the following functions:

1.     Assist to supervise the clerical workforce and to maintain the expertise of the Team in order to ensure the timely processing of routine works.
2.     Co-ordinate day-to-day work, deal with and resolve complex operational issues with minimum supervision.
3.     Provide advice on related operational issues. To support HR managers in evaluating the effectiveness on current workflow and refine the current and long-term talent acquisition and sourcing strategies.
4.     Implement talent acquisition strategies and programs based on hiring needs and priorities.
5.     Act as in-charge to facilitate the communication with departments / applicants and handle enquiries.
6.     Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Entry Requirements:
1.     (a) Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent.
        OR
        (b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:
              - Level 2 in English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; and
              - Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects/ Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent.
2.     7 years' clerical experience with thorough understanding of the functions and operations in human resources.
3.     Ability to organize work, supervise a unit of staff and the activities within the related area(s).
4.     Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.

Preferred Attributes / Exposure:

1.     Solid experience in manpower planning and recruitment.
2.     Well-versed with HA policies and practices as well as legislative requirements relating to HR operations.
3.     Hands-on experience in common office automation (e.g. E-mail, Internet /Intranet etc.), PC applications (e.g. MS Office) and Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) System.
4.     Ability to motivate and lead a team of clerical and supporting staff.
5.     Proactive, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
6.     Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
7.     Higher qualification at tertiary level.
